Consultation paper released

The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practice Board of Australia has published a consultation paper on the following draft revised registration standards.

  • Professional indemnity insurance arrangements
  • Continuing professional development, including guidelines
  • Recency of practice
  • English language skills
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander registration standard

Public consultation has commenced and will close on 4 May 2018.

The six Boards involved in reviewing core registration standards undertook research and benchmarking to inform the development of the standards. The summary is available to download.

The consultation paper is available under Current consultations, and the Board invites feedback from practitioners, stakeholders and the community.
