The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practice Board of Australia registration fee remains the same for 2022

14 Sep 2021

The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practice Board of Australia (the Board) has announced the registration fee for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioners for next year.

The Board has kept the registration fee for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioners the same as this year, at $154.

The fee for practitioners whose principal place of practice is New South Wales is $154.

A full fee schedule is published on the Board’s website.

The Board is committed to keeping the fee as low as possible, charging only enough to be able to undertake its regulatory role to protect the public.

Your registration fees fund the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme and support the Board’s continuing efforts to support and develop a safe and flexible health workforce.

The Board acknowledges that this continues to be a challenging time for health practitioners and sincerely thanks them for their important role in keeping their communities safe and healthy.

The Board has put in place a registration and renewal fee payment plan for any practitioners who are experiencing financial hardship. To read more about the payment plan, see the consideration of financial hardship page.

Your registration must be renewed by 30 November each year. We will send you emails to remind you but if you do not renew your registration, you will no longer be able to use the protected titles of Aboriginal Health Practitioner, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioner, and Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioner.
